Recently students of FTII have been working on a Letter Campaign as part of the larger protest against the Crisis they have been facing . Each student has written a letter addressed to the Minister I&B, Ms. Ambika Soni, voicing their grievances against the Administration and the Government's larger policy of disinvestment in the Institute. These letters are an indication of the mass discontent on the FTII campus and the lack of faith in the Administration anymore.
Letters are being received in large numbers, in various languages and formats, they will be sent to the ministry soon, in hope of some answers to our questions and pleas.
Extracts from the same letters will be updated on the blog from today onwards, so that our concerns are made public. We are also hoping for letters of support from all quarters, other student unions, filmmakers, artists, academicians, fellow film students, film schools and anyone who supports our cause.
