After months of hard work and endless meetings , discussions and debates the draft of Nair Committee report on 'revitalization of FTII' is finally ready. Please read it carefully and feel free to give your suggestions/ opinion /critique. It's only a draft and any suggestion to improve upon it is welcome.

"As the head of the Documentary Programme at the EICTV (International Film and TV School) in Cuba, I recognise the vital importance of our sister institution FTII in maintaining a vibrant, independent cinema culture which values aesthetic and social values above mere "marketability". India's filmmakers have made a unique and vital contribution to world cinema, and it would be a tragedy if this was compromised by short term bureaucratic thinking of the kind represented by these proposed changes to the FTII. I urge you to reconsider."
